The Tabernacle

Blimey, it's been a while since finding a moment to update Rob Blog so there'll be a few new entries along soon.
Last Wednesday I took cousin Becky along with me to Rupert's new Knock2Bag comedy night at The Tabernacle, Powis (location of Turner's house in Nic Roeg's semial film 'Performance') Square, Notting Hill.
It was a magnificent evening. The building, grade 2 listed, and 200 seat auditorium are absolutely stunning and on the bill was a line up of headlining acts; Andrew Lawrence, Phil Nichol, Brendan Burns, Stewart Lee and all very funny. Although, none of them made giggle as uncontrollably as Brian Gittins always does.
I also felt very proud and happy for Rupert and Knock2bag's success. He's built up a comedy brand from scratch and can now sell out a seriously impressive and grown up venue with such headline talent.
