Josie

Our darling cat Josie isn't at all well. A couple of weeks ago we found a lump on her back. It got bigger over a few days so we took her to Ben, our vet, who diagnosed a tumour. We were referred to a specialist who removed the tumour but also a very large and long part of Josie's back.
She came home on Friday with instructions to convalesce in a cage for 4 weeks. However, the staples between her shoulder blades came away and she's now back at the vets where today she's having a skin graft between her shoulders. If this goes well and the tumour doesn't return she'll have a long and happy life ahead of her.
