Apart from a fruitless mission to buy trousers at Westfield, we spent Saturday at home. We did some garden things in the afternoon, picking the last of the apples off the tree, cutting back another tree, mowing the lawn and marveling at all the spiders and their webs. It's a spider's playground at our house at the moment!
We had some nice but not very healthy things to eat; Black pudding and poached eggs for breakfast, fish and chips for lunch and pizza for tea.
One the many things I love about being at home at the weekend is seeing all the things Ruby and Lucas are doing that I don't get to see, while I'm at work, during the week; like Lucas loves being smiled at and beams and coos back. He can roll on his side in his crib and can now shuffle from one end to the other. Ruby is practising singing and loves making 'clip-clop' horse sounds. She's also getting really good at identifying colours and making 3 word sentences.
