The rest of our weekend was pretty fantastic too. Jerry's Dad Colomba and his wife Liz are over for a holiday and came round on Friday night for a meal, it was really great to see them.
We had a change from our usual breakfasts on Saturday and had bagels with cream cheese and smoked salmon and must do that more often.
On Sunday, Vittoriano and Lorena came over for lunch, bringing with them a lovely shirt they'd bought for my birthday. I can't believe I didn't take any pictures of the slow roasted pork belly with sweet braised fennel and all the trimmings, which I'm still trying to make as good as Rupert did and still not bettered.
