Post Office Tower
I love the Post Office Tower. I cycle by it most Thursday lunch times and today she looked particularly beautiful, in front of a bright blue sky and a few fluffy clouds.
In the 70's I dreamt of being grown up, living in London and dining in it's rotating restaurant, with beautiful 70's ladies, on a regular basis. Sadly, that didn't happen. For me, she's the Eiffel Tower of London and seeing her, which I do most days, gives me a thrill and makes me feel at home.
She's absolutely up there in my top 5 favourite post-war buildings in London; along side the Trelick, 172 Harrow Road, The Royal College of Physicians and the Penguin House at London Zoo (although technically that was built in the 30's).
