Weekend

Here's what Ruby, Ibolya and I got up to this weekend.
We had a coffee morning at ours for some local Mums and Babies

Saturday afternoon; Ruby and I walked through North Kensington on our way to my favourite road in the world, Golborne Road.

For Saturday tea, I made us all roast grouse with spinach and dauphinoise potatoes and we watched Steve McQueen's astonishing, debut film, Hunger; about the last six weeks of the life of Bobby Sands. A beautiful and very powerful film.

Sunday morning, we ate a pork pie I'd forgotten was in the fridge and then went for a run round Wormword Scrubs with Becky. Ruby continued working on her crawling and she can now propel herself around, commando style, by pulling and dragging herself to where she wants to go to.
Sunday afternoon we went to Queen's Park Day at Queen's Park with Becky, Kate and Dan, Charlie and Lara. Ruby bought a new red piggy bank.

Then we came home, made chicken escallops with left cauliflower cheese and watched Chinatown.
