After my parents left to go to Jane's, this morning, Ibolya, Ruby, that cats and I, took our places on the sofa, poured ourselves glasses of Prosecco Rose (a present from Jim and Pauline) and watched Roman Polanski's 'Fearless Vampire Killers'. It couldn't have been a more perfect way to start the year.
We'd originally planned to have a big family get together today but had to be postponed as Emilia has Scarlet Fever. Instead, we met the Hargreaves and Mum and Dad at Kew Gardens for a wintry afternoon walk.
