It's Lucas's birthday today - he's 2! I made a birthday cake for him last night, to have with his chums at Mary's, the childminder, and we're having a big party for him a week on Saturday.

It's a never ending source of astonishment and wonder to Ibolya and I that we made these incredible and beautiful little human beings and how much they have transformed our lives.
