BBQ at The Neumann's
Weekend
I'm still loving learning how my camera works in manual mode with Pete's lens so hope you'll forgive the abundance of pictures of Ruby and Lucas but they are, after-all, by far, my most favourite subjects.
Friday night couldn't have started the weekend better; with a night in, an Acton Balti House Chicken Tikka Masala (food from the Gods)and several hours of BBC programming devoted to David Bowie.
We went to ballet, as usual, on Saturday morning, after breakfast and after lunch, I had some painting time with Ruby. We went to Ruby's school for their Summer Fete in the afternoon. Ibolya bought some cool new trainers for Lucas and I built the car park we bought him for his birthday.
On Sunday morning, as it was wet, we went to the indoor play centre at Latimer Road. After lunch, Ruby did her homework and helped Ibolya bake a cake to take to Sheira's housewarming BBQ on Sunday evening.
Breakfast
I love weekend breakfasts and love having time to cook and for us all take our time round the breakfast table, listening to the Nemone show on Radio 6, before we head out for Ruby's ballet class. This Saturday we ate Ibolya's colleague's home-made sausages, with fried eggs and Birdseye potato waffles, which are still waffly-versitile.
