Not such a good weekend

Not such a good weekend for little Ruby as she coped with 2 new teeth breaking through on her jaw gums, a nasty ear infection, tonsillitis and if that wasn't bad enough for her, the antibiotics she's been taking have given her a painful mouth infection. Poor, poor, little bubba.
She did her best to put a brave face on things and still kept on clapping, throughout the weekend and even stood up, un-aided, in her cot for the first time at home.

Elsewhere, we've been loving our new bedroom windows, double glazed - draft and sound proofed. We popped over to the Kilburn car boot sale, saw a strange pile of dolls and bought an orange topped toy we've named Andy. We all went for afternoon tea and cake at my sister Jane's, who was celebrating her birthday and on Saturday night Andy and Becky took us out to dinner, for a lovely meal at Kensington Place. Some TV presenters, who Andy likes, were also there and he asked me to take their picture while they were outside, having a smoke.

On Sunday we said a sad farewell to Becky, my cousin, who's been staying with is for the past 5 months. We're going to really miss her, she's been an absolutely perfect house mate and the house already feels a lot emptier without her.
To top the not such a good weekend, we were also sad to see Lucy voted out of X Factor and Jedward (although, I'm sorry to say, actually did perform slightly better in the sing-off) have gone through to the next round.
