Bramley's
On Sunday afternoon, Ruby and I got on my bike and headed over to Latimer Road for a couple of hours climbing and sliding at Bramley's.
Gauguin
Blimey - after a week of bad technical problems, when I couldn't save and upload pictures, I'm hugely relieved to be back up and running and can catch up starting with this trip, last Friday evening, to Tate Modern to see the Gauguin exhibition and Ai Weiwei's sunflower seed installation in the turbine hall. It was a wonderful evening, the Gauguin show's ok (would have been a lot better if hung chronologically rather than thematically) and the Weiwei is beautiful and extraordinary, even if you can't now climb into it. But more than anything, the evening was significant as the first to include, in our number, master Milo Roseman. Such an adorable little poppet, if ever there was one.

Paloma's Birthday Party
Final post from last weekend, for Paloma's birthday party on Sunday afternoon. One of the many unexpected delights about being parents, I wasn't previously aware of, is that you get to meet loads of other like minded people, with children the same age as yours, who live in the neighbourhood. So I really enjoyed this party, having lots of good Dad chat, with other Dads and seeing all our babies having a good time together and loving doing 'hop little bunnies'.
I didn't get to mention before that last weekend was a major landmark for little Lookie. Not only is he now taking a night time, bottle, feed from me but he has slept in his own room since last Friday night. He was also babysat, for the first time, by his Granny and Grandpa and on Saturday afternoon he giggled, a proper belly laugh, for the very first time. An amazing and very happy sound. He's also front-facing in his papoose now too.

Dan's Birthday
While my Mum and Dad babysat for Lookie and Ruby; Ibolya and I went out for a very rare evening out together, to the mighty Paradise and a for a dinner to celebrate Dan's 30th birthday. We had a really great time with good friends and lovely people.
George
Our family isn't really known for it's ability on the sports field so I'm incredibly happy and proud that the younger generation of our family are proving themselves highly capable and excellent sports-people. Here's my nephew George, demonstrating his outstanding skills, on the rugby playing fields of Bedford, on Sunday morning.
By all accounts he was man of the match and magnificent, in every respect. Congratulations and well done George!

Tables and Chairs at Frieze
As I was wondered round Frieze on Friday morning, my attention was quickly drawn to the vast variety and combinations of tables and chairs at each gallery's stand.
This distraction soon developed into a near obsession that left me marvelling at all the fantastic examples of furniture rather than contemporary art.
It was a lot of fun to photograph and made my visit so much more interesting.
