San Gimignano, 5th April 2010

It was brightening and warming up by day two of the holiday and there was a big Bank Holiday queue to get into San Gimignano. Another enchanting, hill top, citadel - famed for it's medieval Manhattan skyline. I'd wanted to come here for a long time and it was quite breathtaking. The Collegiata had some incredible frescos and we really liked the beautiful church of Saint Agostino. We had some amazing ice creams and the surrounding countryside was absolutely stunning.
