That was a stupendous Saturday. Eggs Royale and egg and soldiers for breakfast. Lookie going going from strength to strength with his potty training. Hopped down to Shaftsbury Avenue for Dora the Explorer the stage show. Back home and caught a few rays in the garden (it was a gloriously sunny and warm weekend)and picked our apple crop.
After Lookie's afternoon snooze, we went to Minky's where Pete was doing an Argentinian grill.
And to round a beautiful day off, Andrea put the children to bed while Ibolya took me to a belated, surprise, grouse dinner at the River Cafe.
I've been absolutely desperate to visit the Olympic Park since long before the start of the games. And while the Olympics were on, I could barely contain my desire to go - so I was cocker-hoop with excitement when a friend of mine offered me his tickets for Saturday night athletics in the stadium, in the park. And it was, absolutely, totally, flipping brilliant.
Just a few pictures of my incredible, gorgeous, little twosome and Jess and Lani, who came to visit at the weekend.
Lucas has recently had a big developmental spurt. He's jabbering away with lovely little sentences and new words are tumbling out of him all the time. He's absolutely mad about cars, trucks and diggers. And goes bonkers when he sees bin men or rubbish trucks. He's even getting on well with his potty training and had many highly successful 'movements' over the weekend.
He's even sleeping in later and our usual 5.30 starts have become, a far more civilized, 6.30.
