On Sunday the 19th; the Hargreaves and my Mum and Dad came for lunch. It was also the first weekend our wonderful au-pair, Andrea, had been with us.

Saturday afternoon BBQ

On Saturday 18th August; Pete, Mabel, Misha and Coco came over for an afternoon BBQ.

Our Olympic Birthday

My twinny sister and I had an absolutely brilliant birthday on the Glorious 12th and celebrated with all our families, watching the Olympic Marathon, on a warm Summer's day and having a lovely walk round the Southbank and Covent Garden.

Olympic Women's Open Water 10km in Hyde Park

I met up with Ibolya and her work chums, at lunchtime, in a glorious looking Hyde Park to watch Hungary beat GB in the 10km, Women's Open Water Swim. An absolutely incredible spectacle of human endurance and a stunningly beautiful place to watch it. iPhone pictures so not very good.

Olympic Triatholon

I met up with my twinny, Sara, and at Hyde Park corner, around lunchtime on August 8th, to watch the cycling section of the Olympic Triathlon.

Olympic Fencing at the ExCel

We are absolutely loving the Olympics and watching from dawn till dusk. Our Olympomania reached new levels when we went to see fencing at the ExCel on Wednesday morning. And afterwards, we popped along the DLR to Royal Victoria and caught the Emirates Air-Line cable car to North Greenwich - it was absolutely spectacular.
