I think this was the seventh weekend of our bathroom work. We got out on Saturday afternoon to Neona's 2nd birthday at the Grand Junction. It was a really wonderful afternoon of beer, cake, pin-pong and bad face-painting.
A very quiet weekend, doing chores, weeding, waiting for the bathroom to be finished and cooking. Ruby has been sleeping every night in a big cardboard box, which our builder Luis built for her. These pictures are from Sunday afternoon, when with a small glimmer of sunshine, Ruby and Lucas took their ice cream outside and ate them under our apple tree.
On Sunday 5th May, we went to Ikea in the morning and Ruby and Lucas loved the merry-go-round. And in teh afternoon, we went to
Asi and Sheira's, round the corner, for a BBQ.
There's been a big, nasty, dark cloud hanging over Caple Road since March 8th and on Friday May 3rd, it lifted somewhat.
So the first warm, sunny, bank holiday weekend, couldn't come sooner for me and it was wonderful to have a few families over
for our first BBQ of the year.
